Review by hotel critic
During my recent visit to Grove Farm B&B, I thoroughly enjoyed the culinary offerings, particularly the breakfast experience. Served from 7:00 a.m., diners have the option of a full English, continental selections, or a buffet-style spread that caters to various palates. I opted for the traditional English breakfast, which was impeccably prepared, featuring locally sourced ingredients. Each bite transported me to my childhood, with flavors that echoed familiarity and comfort. I also found the George Café a pleasant spot for light lunches and a relaxing tea break. The atmosphere was warm, making it an ideal place for unwinding after a day of exploring the Forest of Dean. On more than one occasion, returning to the B&B was an absolute delight, particularly with the delightful aroma of freshly baked goods wafting through the air, complemented by a selection of homemade jams and creams that highlighted local produce. Grove Farm B&B provides a serene getaway where one can indulge in hearty meals and explore beautiful surroundings. The hosts, Penny and David, add a personal touch that enhances the entire experience, making it a destination worth considering for food enthusiasts and travelers alike.
